Simply put, a structure that encloses a pool. Manufactured from materials that are resistant to the sometimes corrosive atmospheres of swimming pools, these enclosures are designed to provide a controllable environment (usually with the addition of HVAC and environment control systems - by others) so that a pool can be used year-round. They can be small enough to house a hot tub and large enough to house an Olympic sized pool with the same design options available as conservatories.
