For even more style, a Lantern room can be added to most standard conservatories. The Lantern is a secondary roof which is added, and partially replaces some of the existing conservatory roof. It creates a two-tier effect and is reminiscent of some of the great European conservatories of the last three centuries. Oratory or ribbon windows sit beneath the lantern room and electronically controlled openers can be incorporated. Lantern roofs can also be added to double ended, P shape, and special design conservatories.
